Jørgen Qimussersuaq Kristensen

He is a proud owner of Dogsled and Ice Academy ApS, where he shares his passion for dog sledding and the unique beauty of Greenland's landscape. Growing up in Upernavik Kujalleq in northern Greenland, Jørgen developed a deep connection to nature, becoming a skilled hunter and fisherman from a young age.

He is also a qualified skipper, bringing a wealth of experience to his outdoor adventures. With an impressive record as a 5 time Greenlandic champion and 9 time Ilulissat champion in dog sledding, Jørgen is dedicated to preserving the traditions of this ancient sport while providing unforgettable experiences for visitors.

His knowledge and love for the Arctic environment make him an inspiring guide and host for anyone eager to explore the wilderness of Greenland!

Morgan Angaju Josefsen Røjkjær

He is a honoured partner in Dogsled and Ice Academy ApS, where he combines his academic background with his passion for promoting Greenlandic culture and adventure tourism. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Communication and is currently pursuing a Master's cand.scient in European Politics and Arctic Affairs at Aarhus University (DK).

With family roots in both Atammik and Maniitsoq, combined with several years as a tour guide in Ilulissat, Angaju has a deep appreciation for the diverse landscapes and traditions of Greenland.

His expertise in marketing and communication enables him to effectively share the unique experiences offered by Dogsled and Ice Academy, connecting visitors with the stunning natural beauty and rich heritage of Kalaallit Nunaat.

With a huge passion for dogsledding and a profound connection to the Arctic, Jørgen is no stranger to the winner's podium. He's clinched the title of Greenlandic Dogsleding Champion more than 5 times, showcasing his exceptional skills and dedication in every race.

But his achievements don't stop there. Jørgen has also conquered the challenging terrain of Ilulissat, winning the championship 9 times. His deep knowledge of these icy landscapes and the trust he's built with his dogs have made him a true legend in the world of dogsledding.
