Terms & Conditions

1. General

These terms constitute the agreement between you as the customer and Dogsled and Ice Academy ApS as the tour operator. We recommend that you read them carefully before making a booking.

2. Safety & Approvals

We only use approved boats, vehicles, and equipment with valid permits and insurances. All captains and guides are experienced and trained to ensure a safe experience.
 

3. Prices

All prices are stated in DKK and are exempt from VAT for tours, accommodation, and transportation in Greenland.
We reserve the right to adjust prices and take no responsibility for sold-out products.

 

4. Payment

We accept payments through a secure SSL connection with Visa, Mastercard, Dankort, MobilePay, and Apple Pay.
The payment is charged immediately upon booking. Credit card fees are non-refundable if you cancel your booking. If we cancel, the fee will be refunded.

 

5. Booking & Confirmation

Your booking is only considered final when payment has been completed, and you have received a written confirmation by email.
It is your responsibility to check that all details in the confirmation are correct and to notify us immediately of any errors.

 

6. Cancellations & Changes

  • Our cancellation: Technical issues, insufficient participants, or circumstances beyond our control. A full refund will be issued.

  • We may cancel due to bad weather, where we can rebook you or your travel insurance covers your lost booking. 

  • Your cancellation: Once the tour is paid and confirmed, it is generally non-refundable unless there is a case of force majeure or COVID-19-related restrictions.

  • We recommend purchasing travel and cancellation insurance.
     

7. Changes During the Tour

Weather and ice conditions may require route changes or shorter tours. The final decision is made by the captain or guide. No compensation will be given for altered or shortened tours.
 

8. Minimum Participants

Some tours require a minimum number of participants. If the requirement is not met, the tour may be cancelled up to 2 hour before departure. You will be offered an alternative or a full refund.
 

9. Liability & Risk

Participation is at your own risk. Our tours may involve physical activity and natural risks. We take all necessary precautions but cannot be held responsible for loss, damage, or expenses resulting from participation. Personal belongings are not covered by our insurance.
 

10. Complaints

Any complaints should be raised during the tour so we can try to resolve the matter immediately.
If the issue is not resolved, a written complaint must be sent to us no later than 3 weeks after the end of the tour.
Any disputes will be handled by the Court in [City] under Greenlandic law.
